Only in Afghanistan, for example, SMEs make up more than 90% of all Afghanistan businesses that provide two out of three private sector jobs in the region. Therefore, it is vitally important for these countries’ economic success to have fully functioning support measures for SMEs.

Challenges for SMEs are numerous, as they often face challenges that bigger companies are immune to. Over the years, the marketplace has become increasingly crowded and competitive.
